Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.
This verse appeared to me three times in the past four days, (sent it as a bday sms on thu, during fri cell and just now, when I lurk a blog) and I know my Lord is trying to tell me something.
I'm at cross roads now. Call it midlife. Job dissatisfaction. Stress. Frustration.... Change is inevitable....
God will make a way, when there seems to be no way,
He works in ways I cannot see, He will make a way for me
He will be my guide, hold me closely to His side,
With love and strength for each new day,
He will make a way, He will make a way.
By the roadway in the wilderness He'll lead me,
Rivers in the desert will I see
Heaven and earth will fade,
But His word will still remain,
He will do something new today.
Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid.
Come.
You of little faith, why did you doubt?
Enough of me-self.
I'm proud of my Bright Ones. Yesterday, my Easter bunny took a chapter of ALWL, and she was great, I'm going to be out of job soon :)
Attended a birthday celebration of a dear old friend, it was great catching up, have not laugh so hard till me ache for quite some time, but sad at the same time that these friends of mine is on a detour : (
This morning JaC did his first-time sharing. The perfectionist in me would say, could have been much better, but for a debut, I must say its very good effort put in. Well done JaC!
Went to my old army mate's son's full moon. Well, we talked about marriage, attempt to match make me with his sister in law.... Haiz

ReplyDeleteBrother,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouragement for Jake. He was quite nervous when he told us 2 weeks ago he need to lead in the sharing. He practiced with us on Saturday nite. Perhaps he took it as a chore but it is a good start and praying that he will look forward to it as he grows.
By the way, Proverbs Chapter 3 is one of the 1st few chapters Jake could memorised. He could have shared this chapter but it may be too chimp for him.
Great to have you helping him. God bless.
