Bus - Jehovah Jireh

going to office @ Joo Chiat has been quite a pain these past months, something i would need to face for the next 2 years, till our present office lease expires... sigh



after these past months, i figure the best option now is to take bus tfr bus, alternative is to get my driver's liscence and drive.



option 1 - bus 31 tfr bus 33 @ Duman Rd, walk for 2 min

option 2 - bus 31 tfr bus 16 @ Duman Rd, walk for another 5 min

both options take about 1 hr



last Tue morning, when i was in bus 31, i saw bus 33 just in front,



great! once 31 over takes 33, i can switch bus, no need to wait so long and walk the least



33 bypass bus stop in front, however 31 stop for alighting passengers



traffic light ahead, 33 stopped, waiting to turn left into Old Airport Rd, there is hope, : )



it didnt take long for 33 to turn off into Old Airport Rd, 31 is still stuck behind waiting to turn into OldAirport Rd



with one hope lost, new hope appear

just then saw 16 at the traffic light on the right, red light, good, dont move till 31 turn into Old Airport Rd please....

alas light chage to green, all i could do was watch 16 zoom pass me into Old Airport Rd, with 31 still stuck @ traffic light


all is not lost yet, another few more stops to go, there is still hope.

unfortunately, when 31 finally turn into Old Airport Rd, neither 33 nor 16 is in sight

hope against hope, finally, i need to alight @ Duman Rd to wait for my next 33 or 16.

reluntantly, i alight preparing myself for a long wait ahead.

it didnt take long for the next bus to arrive @ the bus stop.

when i look up, i was surprise

another 33, quite empty, behind me all the time.

why surprise? the frequency for 33 is between 10 - 20 mins, having another 33 just behind really rare!

well you may say, just bus only, what is the big deal

this is an object lesson for me on God's providence.

when He provides, it may be in a way beyond your norm expectation.

dont go chasing after things that are not yours, it will come at the right time, in His time

thank God i didnt have to wait too long, waiting is tough, though usually necessary.
