PDL 4 - You were shaped for serving God

Bishan cell is doing PDL before Alpha resumes in Sep : ) My esteem cell leader Wai Tuck decreed I will do Purpose 4 : ) Then I reaslied, FOP : ( Well thats another story.....

Truth is I has a very busy and stressful week last week. I didnt really had the chance to prepare but read Luke 10:30-37 Good Samaritan nevertheless.

Then I asked myself, put into a situation, would I really stop to help? Well its easy to say "of course I will", but then crunch time, would I be so confident? I left it as it is and the week sped by. Before I knew it, its Friday : (

Had a very stressful morning. Suppose to meet a client after lunch but my staff have not completed the job. Decided to have a quick lunch. Drop some mail at PO, have a quick bite, go Popular grab some books a want (25% discount for card holders till 7 Aug) then head back office to prepare for meeting.

After I drop my mails, I heard a voice calling "Mister" Well it was not God..... a man appeared from behind the wall. I looked around, there is no one else in the corridor, he must be calling out to me then. But wait, I'm in a hurry, I dont have time. I still have meeting to prepare. What happens if long Q at Popular?

Before I could decided if I should help, I found myself walking towards him. There he stood in front of SAM, explaining in Mandrin he wanted to pay his LTA fine but didnt know what to do. Well I'm no expert at using SAM but I think I can managed better. Instead of just telling what to do, I thought might as well do it for him. Few minutes later, mission accomplished : )

Remembering my tight schedule, I sped off before he could say thank you. You know what, by the time I pay at Popular, I still have more than enough time.....

What I was not sure I would do... the Lord gave me a practical application. When He is in you, He will enable you to help a person in need, even if you think you are very busy : )

We are made to serve God. One way of serving God is to serve others in need. But who could I serve? Do I have what it takes to serve?

Well, God will bring people in need to you, just be sensitive to His leading and you will know who He wants to use you to help.

God spoke things into existence, but form us with His hands and gave us His breath of Life. He is our Creator, He knows what you are capable of. Serve Him with whatever you have now. Whatever you dont have, He will enable, for God's power is demonstration best in our weakness.
