Project Superstar

Was watching Project Superstar just now.

I was suppose to blog something else but change my mind when I realise WeiLian is still in the run.

In case you do not know WeiLian is visually challenged.

When he got into the finals, I was wondering how long he would last. You see, if this contest is held pre-MTV era, I would have no doubt he will make it to the top, cause vocally, he is very good. Dont believe? Just close your eyes when he is singing and you will feel the emotions being conveyed vocally.

But now in this multimedia era, where packaging is everything, would he stand a chance? Well, seeing him in the top 3 tonight, he is already a winner as far as I'm concern.

He has chosen to enter the contest and put in his best. He has chosen to focus on his singing and not be affect by the darkness he is in.

So what does this say about the voting audience? Are they blind? For allowing him to come so far? Yes.... they are indeed blind.... blinded by an angelic voice.

Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
